Reason & Respect to Celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month

Join us for this month’s Reason &amp; Respect: “Global Events and the Impact on Asian Americans.” The discussion will be held on Monday, May 13, from 1 to 2 p.m.<br><br>The event commemorates Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May. The conversation will feature three panelists:<br><br>· Erin Young, Ph.D. is an associate professor of literature and cultural studies and a former Scholar Across the College in 2022-23.<br>· Himanee Gupta, Ph.D. is associate chair of the historical studies department and a SUNY Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Fellow.<br>· Christa Grant, Ed.D. is the assistant vice chancellor for inclusive excellence and operations at SUNY, System Administration.<br><br>The panel will be moderated by Winnie Yu, director of communications in the Office for Advancement.
