The Center for International and Extended Education and the Office for Advancement are proud to present a special Community Conversation on “Leadership: A Woman’s Journey with Valbona Cucuri ’04,” with welcome remarks from President Lisa Vollendorf. The event, which commemorates International Women’s Day, will be held Friday, March 8, from 9 to 10 a.m. EST.<br><br>Valbona is managing director and head of Business Intelligence Product Approval at Barclays Corporate and Investment Bank in London. A leader in international banking and a trailblazer in the field, Valbona earned a BS in computer science from the SUNY Empire Athens Program. <br><br>During her talk, Valbona will share her journey in international finance; her passion for giving back and supporting emerging women leaders in business; and her insights into building a public profile. She will also discuss the importance of consistency and drive in her profession, and what resiliency means to her. <br><br>International Women's Day is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
